A message from Tim Podesta

“As I embark on my journey as the resident artist at The Cube Wodonga, my heart brims with excitement and anticipation. This extraordinary opportunity is a gateway to a realm of artistic exploration, where I am eager to intertwine the magic of choreography and the limitless possibilities of creative practice.

My mission during this residency goes beyond the conventional. I'm driven to foster connections that span generations, introducing individuals of all ages to the captivating universe of movement and expression. From the youngest dreamers to the seasoned enthusiasts, I aspire to ignite a passion for the art of choreography that resonates deeply.

But that's not all. Collaboration is the cornerstone of innovation and my time at The Cube will be a testament to this philosophy. I am thrilled to join forces with a diverse array of innovators, each one contributing a unique hue to the vibrant canvas of creativity. At the forefront of these collaborations lies an exhilarating intersection—the harmonious fusion of the raw human essence of movement and the swiftly evolving frontiers of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).

As the digital age catapults us into uncharted territories, I am committed to preserving the authenticity of human connection. Through this marriage of movement and technology, I aim to sculpt immersive experiences that blur the lines between reality and imagination. The dance of the physical and the virtual, the tangible and the intangible, will be woven together in a tapestry that challenges the boundaries of artistic innovation.

Join me on this thrilling adventure at The Cube, where we will unravel the secrets of choreography, kindle the flames of creativity in hearts young and old and venture into the unexplored territories where human nature dances hand in hand with the boundless horizons of VR and AR. The stage is set, the journey begins—let us transcend the ordinary, together.”
